As you all know, at PB we’re firm believers in taking something old and adding to it to make it feel NEW. Our design team are always hard at work finding new ways to customise vintage pieces using vinyl prints, stud work, diamantes or old badges.

Don’t have the time/machinery for all that? DIY collar tips are the answer.

Collar tips are a fashion HIT at the moment, but pre-tipped shirts on the high street are retailing for higher prices due to the big demand. A cheaper and just-as-chic way of getting the look is to do it yourself. 

Rummage through your grans jewellery box for vintage clip-on earrings, riffle through car boot sales for retro studs or fashion something out of old jewellery you own yourself. Yes, its time to dig out the pliers… or something like that anyway!

There’s two ways to wear collar tips - individual studs or two studs chained together. Have some fun with it - little skulls, pyramids or wings work brilliantly.
