Off to Ibiza? PAUL LOVES IBIZA!
We can help you with what to pack, here » http://goo.gl/MOY25
& where to go once you land below. Read on to find out more information reported back from our insider in Ibiza.. (so mysterious, I know!) x
MONDAY: You’ve just arrived and after a day lounging on one of Ibiza’s amazing white-sand beaches… why not head to Priviledge club. Did you know it’s the biggest club in the WORLD? Monday night sees this place really buzzing with people who have just touched down on the party Isle!
TUESDAY: You’ll need to keep up the momentum from the night before, so head to some bars late afternoon and prepare for a double whammy tonight. Two big nights compete for tourist love on a Tuesday: Space (Carl Cox hosts) & Amnesia (“Together”). At Space, you’ll see some of the most renowned DJS in the world playing enough music to suit EVERY one. Hot fact: Space has been voted the best club in the world for three years in a row! At Amnesia, the main room is hosted by UKF Bass Culture and you can really soak up the Ibiza atmosphere in a club that has been popular from the swinging 60s onwards…
WEDNESDAY: Feeling the hangover? Have a major chill-out session and some excellent food at Cafe Mambos on the beach front. This restaurant/bar gets livelier in the evenings so there is no need to budge all day. The young and beautiful head here as the sun sets and the party moves onto the rocks in front of the bar into the night. Some DJs head down here to play the parties which spontaneously erupt.
THURSDAY: The one, the only David Guetta hosts his “F*** Me I’m Famous” party at Pacha on a Thursday night and you really cannot afford to miss out. The attention to (outrageous) detail is incredible - from the dancers to the costumes and decor, everything is fantastically hedonistic. Guetta himself says: “I drop my hits into my sets but I can get dirty and deep too.” Sounds like a no-brainer to us. Get involved!
FRIDAY: By now a lot of you will have the Holiday-Party-Flu (see Zante-Flu which went around PBHQ a week or so ago). Run down and over-tired you need another chill-out day, and you must fill yourself with the best grub on the island. Head to The Golden Buddha for lunch and gorgeous views across the nearby beach.
FRIDAY 3rd AUGUST: Radio 1 in Ibiza kicks off on this day. And if you’re on the island at this time… 1/ We’re so jealous and 2/ You MUST check the show out at Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel. Registration for tickets on Radio 1 has closed BUT don’t panic - there will be another 3000 tickets ‘on the door’. From 7pm Annie Mac and Pete Tong will be broadcasting live with special guests Groove Armada, Iggy Azalea, DJ Fresh, Redlight, Disclosure, Eats Everything, Maya Jane Coles, Axwell and Pete Tong b2bk with Joris Voorn. BOOM!
SATURDAY: The simply ICONIC Zoo Project party draws the biggest and best crowd on a Saturday night. Slightly surreal; this night involves partying (like party animals… see what I did there?) in an old Zoo grounds. Us Brits do love a bit of face-paint and body art and this is your chance to look seriously sexy. Decide what animal you wanna be for the night and you’ll be able to find a body artist on the beach/at bars before the event to transform you. It’s a chance to meet some seriously gorgeous, tanned people and the dancers/performers/location are breathtaking.
SUNDAY: Bora Bora is a name most people have heard… Ibiza virgins or not! It’s a beach and a Beach Club and generally a seriously good time. It’s the place to be for daytime party vibes when the temperature soars. It’s free to get in, which is ridiculously great, and you’re guaranteed good drink, food, music and views. You can lay on a sun bed and soak up the rays or go all out and beach-party it up. It’s a venue for everyone and with Ushuaia is only 100m away its a great location. Most people move from Bora Bora and head to Ushuaia once the sun has set on a lazy Sunday and a bigger, louder scene calls.
